Rasmussen: Obama at Lowest Approval Rating Ever following ObamaCare Summit

Two-thirds of the results are in, making it already clear that the ObamaCare Summit was an epic fail. Rasmussen's Daily Presidential Tracking Poll uses a running three-day tally, meaning two-thirds of these respondents were polled post-summit... The glorious results:

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 22% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty-three percent (43%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21. That matches the lowest Approval Index rating yet recorded for President Obama.

The only other time the Approval Index was this low came in late December as the U.S. Senate prepared to approve its version of health care reform. Most voters continue to oppose the proposed health care plan.

GOP Leadership's Response to Health Care Summit Invite

This is excellent. Obama isn't going to get his dog and pony show at the GOP's expense. Start over or take a walk.

Mr. Emanuel:

We welcome President Obama’s announcement of forthcoming bipartisan health care talks. In fact, you may remember that last May, Republicans asked President Obama to hold bipartisan discussions on health care in an attempt to find common ground on health care, but he declined and instead chose to work with only Democrats. Since then, the President has given dozens of speeches on health care reform, operating under the premise that the more the American people learn about his plan, the more they will come to like it. Just the opposite has occurred: a majority of Americans oppose the House and Senate health care bills and want them scrapped so we can start over with a step-by-step approach focused on lowering costs for families and small businesses.

Obama lecturing House Republicans on partisanship.

"If you were to listen to the debate, and frankly how some of you went after this bill, you'd think this thing was some, uhh, Bolshevik plot."

Good, it seems the message was heard. He goes on to claim that it was a very centrist bill, despite the fact that he completely ignored an entire side of the aisle. Very post-partisan stuff.

Colorful language and harsh words from the New York Democrat. One thing I've always loved about New Yorkers, which includes many members of my extended family, is their bluntness. He knows the jig is up. Good for him for getting that, at least.

On MSNBC earlier today. Did you know that MSNBC is believed to be the most popular news channel among the 7 remaining Americans who support ObamaPelosiReidCare?

Ultimately, preventing the senseless slaughter of America's health care system is what today is all about. Let's pray that Weiner is correct.

If all goes well, Ted Kennedy will be crying somewhere tonight. Presumably some place warm.

Rasmussen National Poll: 49% favor Brown, 34% for Coakley

Wow. Think this race is a referendum on Obama and health care reform? Interest nationwide is huge.

Like fans cheering for their favorite football teams, voters nationwide are paying attention to the special U.S. Senate race in Massachusetts. Almost half of them are rooting for Republican candidate Scott Brown over his Democratic opponent, Martha Coakley.

As with all things right now, the people who are paying attention overwhelmingly favor the Republican, and are highly energized.

We all knew this was going to happen, but that makes it no less appalling, and no less of a slap-in-the-face to every non-union worker in the country. Bask in the feeling of fairness you get from the Democrats' actions. The most divisive President and Congress in the past 150 years of American history. Bottom line: You better hope you're a member of one of his favored groups, or you're just screwed.

Scott Brown Nails it: "It's not the Kennedy seat, and it's not the Democrats' seat, it's the people's seat"

On the day when he more than doubled his target goal and raised over $1.1 million, Scott Brown pulled out this gem during last night's debate:

Video: Seemingly Drunk Senator Baucus Defends ObamaCare on Senate Floor

And you thought it was hyperbole when we said that anyone who supported this mess of a bill had to be high! Montana Democrat Max Baucus, author of the Senate version of ObamaCare, slurs his way through an incomprehensible tirade against opponents of his monstrosity on the Senate floor. Well, not literally on the floor, but give him time and another swig or two and who knows.

Vote for ObamaCare... Hic!

The Outrage of Page 1020

A piece at Investor's Business Daily highlights one section (found on page 1020 of the Democrats health care bill) that ought to have every patriot up in arms.

'Page 1,020" — it may soon be a mantra for one of the most disturbing abuses of legislative power in history. In setting up an Independent Medicare Advisory Board, that page of the Senate health overhaul bill passed in the dead of night early Monday says, "It shall not be in order in the Senate or the House of Representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this subsection."

You read that correctly. Let's say this monstrosity passes and, shocker of all shockers, it makes things worse for the nation. People want to kill just this subsection, repeal it, amend it, change it in any way... no can do. Can't even consider it.
